What ages can join the cooking classes?

Our programs are designed for children ages 4–10, but we are happy to welcome younger kids if they are ready to follow instructions. Each class encourages teamwork, learning, and fun!

Do I or my child need cooking experience?

No experience needed! Our instructors guide families through each recipe step by step in a relaxed, engaging environment.

Where are the classes located?

We host our kids cooking classes at the Culinary Annex in West Des Moines. 304 5th St #102, West Des Moines, IA 50265. Check our class schedule for upcoming dates and locations.

Do I need to know Spanish for the sessions in Spanish?

No Spanish needed! Neither you nor your child need to speak Spanish to join. The instructor demonstrates every step so everyone can follow along.

The Spanish sessions are a fun way to hear and learn a new language while cooking, playing, and tasting new foods — no pressure, just fun and learning together!
